Installing a program looks simple, but in a business there is more at stake: choosing the right licence, activating it in the company's name, configuring it so everyone works the same way and connecting it to email, the cloud or the printer. A poor installation means programs that crash, files that won't open on another computer or licences that expire without warning.
It is also a matter of security. Programs downloaded from unofficial sites or «cracked» versions are one of the most common ways viruses get in. Always using genuine, up-to-date versions protects your computers and keeps you out of legal trouble.
We work with businesses, freelancers and private customers in Empuriabrava, Roses, Figueres and the rest of the Alt Empordà. We can set up a new computer with every program ready to use, or review a whole office so everyone has the same versions and properly licensed software.
Years ago, programs such as Photoshop or Microsoft Office were bought once and installed from a CD. Since 2013 Adobe has only offered them by subscription through Creative Cloud, and Microsoft does the same with Microsoft 365. That changes how licences are managed: they must be assigned to each user, renewed and cancelled when someone leaves. Well organised, it saves money; badly organised, you end up paying for licences nobody uses.
