Why does repairing in time matter?
Many faults give warning signs: the computer takes longer and longer to start, the fan is noisy, the battery runs down quickly or the printer jams. If it is checked in time, the repair is usually simple and cheap. If it is left, a drive that was starting to fail can stop working completely and take documents, photos or the company's accounts with it.
Repairing is also a way to save money and reduce waste. A computer that is a few years old can stay useful for a long time with a good clean and a new part or two. In 2024 the European Union adopted the «right to repair» directive precisely to encourage devices to be fixed rather than thrown away.
An example you probably know
The most typical case is the laptop that overheats, gets noisy and shuts down by itself. It is almost always dust in the fan and dried-out thermal paste, and an internal clean fixes it. Another classic is the «slow» five- or six-year-old computer: replacing its hard drive with an SSD usually makes it start in seconds and run like new, for a fraction of the price of buying another one.

Yes. We first diagnose the fault and explain what is wrong and what it costs to fix. We don't repair anything without your approval.
What happens to my files?
We treat your data in strict confidence and, if the fault allows, keep it intact. If the drive is damaged, we try to recover it.
